Folkert de Jong is well known for his theatrical and sculptural narratives. In 2015 he joined Upfront Soundlab Amsterdam. They perform very irregularly live, mostly in museums and galleries, often in the context of the art work of Folkert de Jong.

The project is an initiative by creative producer René Mendel (Interakt). The creation of the AR app with the 3D scans of the sculptures is a collaboration between Folkert de Jong and AR developer Sander Veenhof (AugmentNL)
